Donald J. Trump and Louis R. Cappelli are teaming up again to do some development in Westchester – this time upcounty. Trump is joining Cappelli’s Barger Brook Manor development in Yorktown, which till now has consisted of 141 units marketed to “active” adults age 55 and older.

The 50-acre project is located off Route 6, near a Taconic State Parkway exit. “We’re going to rename it The Residences at Trump Park and I’m very excited about that,” Cappelli said. “We’re going to do a partnership and change the configuration of the units, make them different sizes.”

Not that Cappelli’s original Barger Brook Manor could be perceived as downscale. Units at the $80 million project were priced this past spring from the mid-$500,000s to $1.3 million. The redesign will delay the project’s completion, Cappelli said: “I think it’s going to be middle to third-quarter of ’07.” The renaming also reflects the project’s location across from one of two undeveloped parcels Trump donated to the state for park use (Below Capelli & Trump)
